Surgical Elements releases innovative carbon fibre Hand/Arm Surgical Table

Many hand/arm boards on the market have an extendable leg at the end of the board for stability. This limits C-arm, X-ray machine access and placement. The leg also gets in the way of the surgeon’s choice where to place him/her self at the surgical site. These boards have a safety issue often over looked by the buyer and operator. Tipping the operating table is a serious possibility where the extendable leg is locked in place and the operator decides to lower the Operating table without releasing the leg lock clamp lever. Surgical Element’s HAT boards have no such safety issues.

Many boards on the market without this leg, are often not strong/rigid enough allowing the board to flex when being leaned on during the procedure, which can be disconcerting to say the least.

Surgical Elements legless Hand/Arm boards have overcome most operational and safety issues with these surgical boards. The internal hardware in the HAT Boards is designed in such a way as to give optimal rigidity, without interfering with the X-ray image and the X-ray machine placement, or the surgeons choice where to sit at the table. And the high quality black carbon fibre makes the finish look great.

Surgical Element’s HAT boards are used at several surgical sites and are receiving high praise. In fact, operators rave about this product.
